Keldon-II class
The Keldon-class is more powerful than the Galor-class. But because of the need of quantity instead of quality during - especially after the losses during the Dominion War - the Cardassian Central Command decided to build primary the easier to build and maintain Galor-class instead of the more complicated Keldons.
So the production rate is 12 Galors to 1 Keldon. Most of the Keldon-ships are used as flagships commanding and coordinating a hunter pack of Galor-ships in battle.
The CUS Kitash was part of the joint Tal´Shiar-Obsidian-Order-strike force which was ordered to attack in 2971 the homeworld of the Founders. The 20 Keldon class ships of the Obsidian Order have been built and modified at a secret shipyard at the Orias-system and were equipped with romulan cloaking devices.
The attack against the Dominion ended in a catastrophy: The 40 romulan and cardassian ships were lured in a Dominion-trap and wiped out by 150 Jem´Hadar cruisers. The Kitash has been reported of being destroyed while it tried to retreat from battle.
